I have seen some pretty mad-skillz vector tracing of car photos on DA, so I honestly thought vector tracing was perfectly fine, until the DA mob jumped me. It seems that vector tracing an image is stealing, and you can get banned for it. Impressive.
I haven't done vector tracing for a while, but when i did, it was mainly for practice with the pen tool, or to enlarge a bad quality image (usually animated) for personal use, such as a desktop wallpaper. Anyhow, i had two practice vector traces which i put had put on here from about two years back, and they remained largely unknown until yesterday, when all of the sudden they got 450ish views from nowhere. Although this was surprising and kinda cool, i quickly found out about the beef they had with my vector traces.
I stated on both works that they were vector traces for pen tool practice, and in no way did i pass what i traced originally off as my own work. However, since the mob has probably been here longer than i, i will assume that despite their shoot-to-kill attitude that they were right and i am wrong. So therefore, i do apologize.
Now that is out of the way, time to update this page.
